Bed and Breakfast Skye Food

A delicious breakfast will set you up for the day -
Mint Croft's hens are very curious and their organic,
free-range eggs are to be found all over the croft.

A delicious breakfast is served in the breakfast room of the main house between 8:00am and 9:30am, or earlier by arrangement. Prior to 8:00am, a Highland continental breakfast is served in your Suite.

Mint Croft Afternoon Tea in your Suite. Lovely loose leaf tea from Eteaket in Edinburgh. Full bodied organic coffee from Cru Kafe. All butter, homemade shortbread.

Our Artisan Food Producers

Mostly from Skye and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. We take great pleasure in serving you local, seasonal, and where possible organic produce.

Mint Croft is a six acre sustainable Highland croft with a share of the township owned Common Grazings of 920 acres. Shaz is the Grazings Clerk for the township. Our hens lay lovely organic eggs and we produce our own herbs. We keep native Hebridean sheep. This year we’ll prepare the ground for organic seasonal fruit and vegetables.

Skye is a food destination. Loch Bay Restaurant is a Michelin-Starred restaurant, five miles from Mint Croft in the old fishing village of Stein. Skye’s oldest inn, The Stein is next door. The world famous Three Chimneys is sixteen miles from Mint Croft. Local by Skye standards.
A local taxi service is available.
